Two-part sand filter made of glass fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP). PP is resistant to almost all chemicals used in swimming pools (except ozone). The filter parts are connected with a stainless steel clamping ring. The split halves of the filter are very easy to maintain and make sand replacement very easy, making Bilbao filters one of the most popular filters. All filters including pressure gauge, manual drain and vent. Maximum filter speed 50 m/hour. Maximum allowable working pressure 1,5 bar. Mini Bilbao Ø 350 mm in orange, Ø 400, 500 and 600 mm in anthracite.
On the installation side, ensure that the maximum operating pressure in the filter tank does not exceed 1.5 bar. Air bubbles in the filter should be avoided. After backwashing or commissioning, the filter should be bled manually. The multi-way valve or ball valves in the installation must not be operated (closed) while the pump is running.
